Environmental services performed by KTI involve Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), environmental compliance assessments, underground storage tank investigation, soil corrosivity evaluations, environmental monitoring, sampling runoff (SWRO), soil and water evaluations related to areas such as landfills, leachate problems, contaminated sites, wastewater treatment facilities, and construction sites including existing and proposed locations. All samples are sent to certified and accredited analytical laboratories for testing. Environmental reports are generated through analysis and evaluations of project data, using field observations and a summary of existing conditions, laboratory test results, and research data gathered from various federal, state and local agencies.
